Tenerife regular visitors and residents will know that the island is rich in culture and it is so beyond the beaches of Tenerife.

We thought we would take a blow of eye to some of the best events to come in the calendar of Tenerife for next month to give a taste of what the island has to offer...

Every Saturday until the 18th December throw Vineyards open their doors (and their bottles!) to ' guagua del vino 2010 ", the wine bus! Its a very pleasant taste wine way with and did step to worry about how to get to the home page!

There are some great performances and visiting artists each year the Tenerife Opera Festival and fantastic auditorium is an ideal location for their experience. This year there is a packaged program, including the "Falstaff" eta "Madama Butterfly" by Verdi and Puccini. Works until 22 October.

Tapas routes

NIBBLE and SIP your way to one of the routes tapas, where restaurants provide a beverage and tapa for €2.50.  Each restaurant serves its best tapa and of course, there is a winner at the end.  Routes of tapas operate around the island at different times throughout the year.

By El Greco to Sorolla

A fascinating exhibition of Spanish portraits of Cetury from the 16th to the 20th famous Museo del Prado in Madrid, including works by Titian, Antonio Moro, El Greco, Velázquez, Goya and Sorolla, among others. A chronological review of an historical era of Spanish art, portrait of the 16th century to the early years of the 20th. Works on 8 Urtarrila.

Canaries Folk Fest

Folk Canary Islands best bands will gather in Arona. Canarias Folk Fest pays visit to Las Galletas de Las Americas and Los Cristianos each week from the end of October to 14 Apirila 2011.
